WOW. Nauman and Aziza were amazing. They made the day into something extraordinary. They were both so helpful, and no matter when we called they would take time out of their day to sort out whatever question we had. If they didn't pickup. our call was promptly returned. They were very professional, but also quite friendly. Our ceremony set up consisted of a canopy that would cover the guests overhead, and a draped mandap. Once they finished setting up the mandap, I noticed that they had mixed flower petals in the basket that were to be thrown at us during the ceremony. I had specifically requested red ones. I made a quick mention of this to Aziza, but didn't dwell on it as it wasn't the end of the world. But, about 30 minutes later, the basket was changed to being filled with red flower petals. They busted their butts in order to have everything ready for the start of the reception, which they did. Instead of starting at 10am, they had to start at 4pm. Kudos to their team for getting everything done in a timely manner. Our reception decor included two types of centerpieces (a low moss base with calla lilies coming out, and large manzantia branches with a moss/flower base with orchids and crystals hanging off the branches). Also, we had two very large manzanita trees on each side of the reception hall in the center of the guest tables on its own table. We surrounded these two tree with frames of our friends and family filled with photos of them on their own wedding day. The decorated these tables so nicely, it looked amazing. The reception stage included a live waterfall backdrop with a cabana in front of it. They added quite a few things that weren't included in our contract nor did we pay for. They really did a phenomenal job, and many of our guests were quite amazed with all the decor. In the effort to keep this review as unbiased as possible, the flowers on the bridal bouquet were a little wilted, but so were the boutonnieres which we received from an entirely different vendor/florist. We think it may have had to do with the humidity on that day. This email has long been overdue and I apologize sincerely for that. I have wanted to write you both for so long to thank you for the amazing job you did for our wedding. I know I wasn’t easy to work with and I had numerous demands. Like Nainesh said, you basically took an image/idea that was in my mind and made it a reality.
You transformed both Akbar and the banquet halls at the Marriot. For the Sangeet night, I was worried the Morroccon theme might be too colorful, maybe even a bit tacky but the décor turned out to be anything but and was truly an elegant affair that people will remember for years to come. I don’t know where to start with our ceremony…when I walked in that room and sat on the mandap the first thing I did was absorb the breathtaking décor.
I didn’t even notice the red carpet!! The “pillars” and the centerpiece of the mandap were absolutely gorgeous. Then there was the reception. I loved all of the centerpieces and really appreciated that we were able to reuse so much from the ceremony. The stage was everything I wanted and more.
I know I went into panic mode during our last meeting and I apologize for that. I am so glad we chose you as you exceeded our expectations. Please know that I (and the restaurant) have and will continue to sincerely recommend your services. In fact, I hear my sisters friend, Ami Shah has been in touch with you for her wedding this October! I also thought you might be interested in seeing the photographers pictures from the event. It was by random luck through internet research that I came across Design House and I am so glad that I did. I was looking for something unique, original, and for someone with a modern vision yet an appreciation for tradition as well. I was very impressed with their blog and decided to consult/meet with them at their office on Long Island. As I walked through their warehouse portion, I was instantly mesmerized by all the stages, props, and material that were lying around. I became intrigued just thinking of all the possibilities and ways to create my perfect fairytale wedding. After-all, ambiance and décor are the key ingredients to create the right mood and setting that will help transform you and your guests into a dreamy and romantic environment on your special day.
I met with Aziza and Nauman, a couple that was clearly meant for each other. Aziza is the vision behind all of Nauman’s amazing designs and both of them are so pleasant to work with. Later on, I met Hasina, who adds tremendously to this talented young team with her creative vision and flair for some amazing works of art. They are extremely professional, unassuming, and willing to work with you in every way to help your vision come to life. And if you aren’t the creative type and haven’t planned out every detail of your wedding since you were eight years old, not to worry, because you can rely on this trio to help come up with some great ideas for your big day.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Shadi Paradise/Design House to handle every aspect of your big day. Hasina is available for you almost any time of the day, right down to those final moments when brides tend to have breakdowns. For me, she was always a text away and responded with helpful advice, never falling short of professionalism. In fact, the entire team is extremely professional, dedicated, and talented. At the end of the day, you want people that are willing to work with you. Weddings are a very personal and private matter, and you don’t want to work with individuals that treat it more of a business transaction and make it all about money. Yes it is a business, but this team knows how to balance the fine line between business and keeping in touch with their clients and treating them as individuals and not mere business ventures. Moreover, while it is about money as well, the team is willing to work within your budget to help create the best possible scenario for your big day.
My now husband and I were extremely pleased with the wonderful work they did in creating beautiful and elegant stages for our Mehndi and Wedding day. They definitely put a smile on our faces. They are genuinely nice people and they are committed to what they do. Professionalism was really important to us, and they displayed it every step of the way.

I honestly cant put into words how great the room looked on Saturday. It was beautiful (not a word I typically use), I am so happy I chose you guys for the event - I could not have imagined it being better. Everyone was impressed, and this will be remembered by all. I also appreciate the backdrop for the morning ceremony, that was something we did not discuss initially, and your generosity is much appreciated. I will personally give you a call tomorrow to thank you again. As mentioned, I cannot put into words how amazing the room looked and how much we appreciated your accommodating personalities. I would give them 10 stars if that were allowed! Undoubtedly the best vendor choice I made throughout my entire wedding planning. This dynamic team goes so above and beyond that they completely surpassed my vision and took it to a whole new level. I never once worried when it came to Design House. I knew whatever they created, I would be more than thrilled, and indeed I was.
Additionally, they worked with my budget and never once made me feel intimidated. For those of you planning on getting married, take note, there are many vendors out there who play favoritism for those with grand budgets and will give you bare minimum if your budget does not measure up to their favorite clients. With Design House, it is never the case. They go above and beyond, no matter the budget

Both events that i had, which was my hindu ceremony and reception they're ahead of schedule and talk about wonderful personalities ,they are great at what they do~ My wedding felt like i was in a sparkling paradise ,they created the perfect ,elegant and intimate function for my wedding day~ Anyone who needs to plan an event Design House is the place you will get the sparkling paradise

Thanks so much for everything you guys did for our wedding. Everything looked amazing from the mandap to the centerpieces to the stage.
